Fri, 16 Jan 2009Just trying out the directory function in blosxom; seeing what will happen. Okay: that is so cool you know? 2009 Jan 16 [/school] permanent link Here's just a single return. Like this. This is a double return.
And, as always italics can also be bolded with a link. Hey! a line:Okay, enough stuff with this...now, I think I'll see if I can get the line wrapping to work better than it did in previous posts. We're watching Around the World in 80 Days (2006) and it's a bit silly and I would rather be watching the Michael Palin one. Here goes nothing. 2009 Jan 16 [] permanent link
Okay, almost there with Markdown
So, I put Markdown in the plugins directory and now I'm having to deal with textwrapping (which as is it doesn't). Okay. So, the other stuff still remains. Let's try some things out: -This item -This item -That item I wonder if the pound signs work. this is oneThis is twoThis is threeOkay...taking it for a ride. 2009 Jan 16 [] permanent link Yep, it's a record low of -20f (-35f with windchill) outside and we're off school. As one can see with these first few posts, I'm still trying to determine if I still want to use this as my main way of blogposting. If anything, it's easy. I think the last time I was trying this out, I was hoping to figure out an easy way to insert html tags into a regular text file using vim and for some reason I couldn't find it. Perhaps with my new Using Vim book, I'll find the answers to that. So, for a bit, I might not have much markup in my posts. Actually, perhaps I can find a plugin in for markdown or textile to that the process a bit more manageable. Or, perhaps, I can just learn the 10 or so tags. Until then, I still like the ease of sshing into the site and dropping a vim file and it's all done. Next step is to make the look of the site a bit more usable. Maybe something for a school day off, you know? 2009 Jan 16 [] permanent link ![]() |
